It looks like a compass above the Hint button. It’s a courageous break from the genre, but it may not feel like the same Lost Lands to some players. One of the series’ regulars becomes the enemy and Susan has to change them back. Well, there are giant spiders, but they aren’t really the enemy. Also, the story is quite different from the others. In this game, you only work in 3 or 4 locations at a time. I loved roaming far and wide in the first 4 Lost Lands. There is a price to pay for being able to play the game without a map, though.
None of the usual types you find in these games. I am pleased to say that I made it all the way through this game, Lost Lands 6, and the bonus chapter without needing a single hint or skip. And the “Full” prepaid game is not available in the Mac App Store, so that was not an option. In the end, including the bonus chapter price, I spent more than the full game price.
